USW: Tip the World Over on Its Side
The Spring-Day Commune
Originally purchased by Kevin’s grandparents after the war, the old commune quickly became a haven for wayward travelers passing along the newly-opened roads of America. (Kevin’s grandmother was a nurse during the war, and carried that imperative with her back home.) Eventually, Kevin’s grandparents moved back to the city, leaving his parents in charge, and they turned the old farm into a full commune, where it’s been ever since.
